Experience an unforgettable and ethical elephant encounter at Samui Elephant World, one of Koh Samui’s most responsible elephant sanctuaries. This half-day tour is perfect for travelers who want to spend meaningful time with elephants while supporting animal welfare and conservation.
Unlike traditional elephant camps, Samui Elephant World focuses on no riding, no chains, and no performances, allowing elephants to live freely in a natural environment.
Being allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed the elephants, you will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviours. After you have met all the elephants, you will enjoy watching them enjoy their mud spa. The elephants apply mud on the skin for healthy sunscreen and mud treatment to their skin. Next, you will walk with the elephants, shower them and join them in the water for a refresher. Brush the elephants while they wade through and play in the water.
Once the elephants are clean, you can take some final photos with them. Then it will be time to part ways with your new friend and change into some dry clothes.

Our qualified guides give our visitors a glimpse into the behaviour and personal history of each elephant. At the same time, our mahouts help people to experience an incredible life experience, like bathing and feeding them by hand.
8.00-9:00 am Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Samui. Drive approximately 30-50 minutes.
9:00 am Arrive at Elephant World Samui.
12:30 pm Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation.
* Please Note: At the elephant world, we will allow you to spend as much time as possible with the elephants. Therefore, there is no formal schedule and aside from pick-up times, the times shown here are approximations.

Child, 2,000 Thai Baht/person. Child is aged 4 – 12 years, under 130 cm.
* The Tour booking cannot be cancelled 24 hours before the trip starts/ the tour company will charge full payment.
